For Parents

"On a scale of one to ten, I place The Navigators as a 'ten' among para-church ministries today.  In my college days, The Navigators taught me the value of a disciplined life.  In our Crusades, they developed the unsurpassed follow-up methods we use today.  Thank God for The Navigators."
- Billy Graham

A note from Luke & Sarah…
When your son or daughter first mentioned to you that they were involved in The Navigators organization on campus, you may have had a lot of questions. You may have asked yourself, “Who are The Navigators? What do they believe? Are they one of those weird groups?”

If you have heard of The Navigators it may be because of one of three things: 1) a scripture memory program you’ve done; 2) you’ve read or seen a NavPress book; 3) or you once heard someone you know say something about us.

We realize that the college years can be a very formative, and sometimes challenging time as students may wrestle with what they believe and how to live.  Because we believe that the Bible has the answers to these challenges, our goal is to help students build their lives on the firm foundation of a relationship with Jesus Christ.  We want these students to become mature followers of Jesus (Colossians 1:28-29) who love God deeply (Matthew 22:37-38), have a heart for individual people (Matthew 22:39-40), and have God’s vision for the world (Matthew 28:19-20).  We pray that as we have opportunity to invest in your son or daughter, that these things would become a reality in his or her life.

Thank you for the privilege of investing in your child during their years at UNK!  We encourage you to look around the website to get an idea of what we do and what we believe.  You can also see below what other parents and leaders have to say about The Navigators.  If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us (unknavs@gmail.com)!

Sincerely,
Luke & Sarah DeBoer
